Phase two has to be the worst mini-game of this Tier needing six to nine interrupters and still be brutal and no fun for healers. Great job Cataclysm developers. We demand better if you will keep rehashing old content.

So far the hardest encounter to finish this expansion, not because of technical difficulty but because of lag and disconnects. On the kill however we had 0 deaths at the end so i guess the practice paid off. This would be easier if we could stack the raid with more ranged but w/e.

After a night of attempts the stupid dragon died. Several close shots, finally decided to call in an orbital strike and commando team of laser cats to finish her off. Heroically done to 10/12. (Slackers delight – we may have found a screenshot)

Took us a while to get to this one. There are just too many ways to approach it and her being the second boss, it’s a tough call to spend a full day with her. Luckily we only did that once a few weeks ago. Yesterday with all the zone buffs and our DPS pounding adds down, we were in a quick phase two. Four practice warmups later with loads of exploded Ghosts on healers, and mind controlled melee murder sprees; the big LDW fell over dead. She would have been worth a screenshot but we were excited and well no one remembered. Additionally I passed out, face planted on my keyboard and asked Yosh to post the news – Kam

Lord Marrowgar, Gunship and BQL went down in week 1. Prolly could have squeezed another 1 or 2 if we had known the Lich King would fall so easily this week but still not a bad start. In week 2 we added Rotface and Blood Princes to the list and took some shots at Saufang before deciding to move on (That fight would probably go better with more than 6 ranged dps ). Might still have time for another one this week, if that happens i will add them to the list!. Stay tuned for more updates.

A difficult and complex encounter, the only one in Wotlk that compares to Illidan, Kael’thas and Vashj in my opinion. Time to start the heroics next reset. Picture will be added later, and perhaps even a proper story when Kam gets on here. Until then, here are some cat pictures that you know you want to see.
